Everything else followed from that one decision, because My Favorite Cleaning Co. was born in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, in a neighborhood that finally felt like home after years of moving around. It was built by a military family who chose community over career, and a woman who realized her neighbors needed exactly what she needed: someone reliable, someone personal, someone who actually shows up, and the best cleaning company in Lehigh Valley!
That someone is our founder, Yari Ising.

The story behind our name.
After years of moving from place to place (the life you sign up for when your family serves), we finally settled in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, because something just felt different here.
For the first time, we felt like we'd actually found our home. Not just a house. A community, too.
My husband spent 10 years on active duty with the Air Force, and another 10 as a civilian. I served myself for 6 years, as well. We both gave a lot to public service, and we don't regret a single day of it.
But in January 2025, life handed us a crossroads: move back to Boston or Washington, D.C. to keep our careers and our combined six-figure income... or stay here, in the place that finally felt like our home.
We chose home.
And when you make a choice like that, you have to figure out what comes next! For us, the answer was clear: whatever we did, it had to involve serving others.
At the time, I was already doing post-construction cleans, and I genuinely loved it! Not just the cleaning itself, but the feeling of it. Handing someone back their space. Giving a family a fresh start. Giving a busy mom one less thing to worry about.
That was the moment I knew something was changing for the better.
So, I started asking around the neighborhood. Were other people struggling to find reliable home cleaners? The answer was the same every single time: a resounding “yes!”
Nobody was getting called back.
Nobody could find someone they trusted.
The need was real, and no one was filling it the right way.
So I decided to!
My Favorite Cleaning Co. started as a solution for my own community. And it's still exactly that. Every home we clean is a reminder of why we made that choice — to stay, to serve, and to give back to the neighborhood that welcomed us so warmly.
