The question we ask after every clean (& what people say)

Client, Kerri, and Yari, founder of MFCC, smiling indoors by a decorated Christmas tree and mantel, happy after a visit from my favorite cleaning company.

It's right there in our name.

My Favorite Cleaning Co. is not just โ€œaโ€ cleaning company, and
not just โ€œthe bestโ€ cleaning company (though we're working on that too).

We want to be your favorite. And that's a pretty audacious thing to put in your business name, but honestly, we feel that weight every single time we walk through a client's door.

So we do something a little different: we actually check!

At the end of every service, we ask some version of this question: "Is it safe to say that My Favorite Cleaning Co. is actually your favorite cleaning company?"

And the answers we get back tell us everything we need to know.

Why most cleaning companies donโ€™t ask this question

Here's the dirty secret (pun intended) about the cleaning industry: most companies assume they already know what you want. Sparkling bathrooms. Clean floors. Show up on time. Done. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

And look, โ€”yes, obviously! But that's the baseline. The bare minimum. That's not what makes you feel like you've finally found the one. โœจ

Yari started My Favorite Cleaning Co. after experiencing this firsthand. When she and her family settled in Hellertown and she started looking for a cleaner (genuinely needing one, busy mom of little boys, brand new community, #allthethings) nobody called back. The few who did were inconsistent, hard to communicate with, or just... fine. Not favorite. Just ok.

She knew the Lehigh Valley communities around her deserved better than just ok.

What people actually tell us when we ask

Before we even walk into a clientโ€™s house, we ask, โ€œWhat do we have to do to earn the title of your favorite cleaning company?โ€ and we do everything in our power to live up to those expectations.

When we ask our clients if MFCC is their new favorite cleaning company after their first clean, the answers are never just "yes, because you cleaned well." Here's what weโ€™ve learned from asking what makes us their favorite cleaning company:

Be consistent.

This is the number one thing, above everything else. People aren't asking for perfection: they're asking to be able to count on us. To know that Wednesday at 10am means Wednesday at 10am, every time. To know that if something changes, we'll tell them before they're standing in their living room wondering where we are, or if weโ€™re going to show up at all.

This is why we assign the same cleaner to your home whenever possible. Consistency isn't a perk. It's the whole thing.

Don't make me feel like I have to manage you.

Our clients are busy. Like, genuinely, deeply, no-time-for-this busy. Many are managing dual-income households, kids, careers, and about seventeen other things that have nothing to do with whether the baseboards got wiped down. They hired us so they don't have to think about it.

So we built our whole process around that. The reminders, the client hub where you can see your appointments and invoices, the follow-up after your first clean โ€” it's all designed so you never have to chase us down. We're proactive by default.

โ€œFirst time using My Favorite Cleaning Co. and the entire process from start to finish was excellent.โ€

โ€” Stephanie L.

โ€œFrom the initial booking to the final walkthrough, their communication was brilliant. They were very responsive to specific requests and made sure we were happy with every detail.โ€

โ€” Eribon

Listen to what I actually care about.

One client wants us to skip the guest room entirely โ€” it's her office and she's very particular about where things go. Another needs the kitchen counters completely clear because her toddler gets into everything. Another just really, really wants the bathroom mirrors done without streaks.

None of these things are on a standard checklist. All of them are what make the difference between "they did a good job" and "these are my people!"

โ€œTime was spent on areas of concern and details were not ignored. Our cleaner was very friendly, reliable, and on time.โ€

โ€” Sara A.

โ€œBeing a retired senior lady with a fairly large home, I needed a cleaning service that was thorough, professional, yet considerate of my furnishings and environment.โ€

โ€” Patty I.

Just feel like someone who cares is in my home.

This one gets us every time, because it's not really about cleaning at all! It's about trust. Letting someone into your home is definitely an act of vulnerability. You're handing over your keys, or your space, or your family's environment. And what people want to know โ€”what they're really askingโ€” is: will you treat it like it matters to you too?

Yes, we will. Every single time!

โ€œThe follow up after the visit from the owner felt genuine. You can tell the employees and the owner care so much about their clients.โ€

โ€” Tracy K.

โ€œThis team cares. Locally owned and operated โ€” they are helping you buy back your time through trustworthy, professional, reliable services.โ€

โ€” Caitlin L.

Asking the question is just the beginningโ€ฆ

What matters is what we do with your answers.

Before your first clean, weโ€™ll have a real conversation about your home or space, your priorities, your preferences, the quirks only you know about. We send a customized quote with our checklist attached so you know exactly what to expect.

After your first clean, we follow up to make sure everything felt right and that youโ€™re happy with our service. For recurring clients, we confirm your preferred cleaner, lock in your schedule, and keep communication clear and simple.

We were voted a 2025 Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave โ€” which means the world to us because being a good neighbor is genuinely one of the principles we run this business by!

We're not trying to be the biggest cleaning company in the Lehigh Valley. We're trying to be the one you actually miss between cleanings!

So, weโ€™ve gotta ask:
what would make us your favorite cleaning company?

If you're in the Lehigh Valley (in Hellertown, Bethlehem, Easton, Allentown, Coopersburg, Center Valley, or anywhere in between) and you're tired of settling for fine, we'd love to earn the title of your favorite!

Getting a quote is easy! But the conversation after it is where the good stuff happens.
